What does the research say about inositols and cycle health?

Human studies have investigated inositols, including 40:1 combinations, for hormonal and metabolic measurements and menstrual-cycle outcomes. Some report benefits, but results vary and many trials are small or have design limitations.

A studied ingredient or ratio does not prove that the finished WrenLife formula will regulate cycles or produce a particular hormone or fertility outcome. The 2023 international guideline notes limited clinical benefits and insufficient evidence to recommend a particular inositol type, dose or combination.

Read our evidence review, including study limitations.

What results can I expect, and how fast?

Individual responses vary. Studies have used different doses and formulations over several months; they do not establish a reliable time to benefit for this product. We cannot predict changes in energy, mood, cycles or laboratory results within four weeks or three months.

Follow the labeled serving size; do not increase it to match a research dose. A healthcare professional can help you decide whether the formula fits your needs and how to assess your progress.

Can I take it with medications or other supplements?

Ask your pharmacist or prescriber to review the complete formula, including if you take hormonal contraceptives. Compatibility and timing depend on your medicines and health history. Check the combined amounts before adding it to a multivitamin or other supplements.

Chromium can interact with insulin and other blood-sugar medicines, potentially increasing the risk of low blood sugar. It can also reduce levothyroxine absorption when taken at the same time; ask your pharmacist for the correct separation interval rather than relying on a one-hour gap.

Vitamin K2 can interact with warfarin and similar anticoagulants. Do not start or stop this formula while taking those medicines without your prescriber’s guidance. Magnesium and zinc can affect the absorption of some medicines, too.

Can I use it during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

No. Hormone Health is not intended for pregnancy or breastfeeding. Follow the label and discontinue use when pregnancy is confirmed and while breastfeeding.

If you are trying to conceive, may be pregnant or receive fertility care, review the formula with your OB/GYN or other qualified healthcare professional before use. Research on one ingredient does not establish the safety or benefit of this combination during pregnancy or breastfeeding. This product is not a prenatal.

Is it suitable if I have a milk allergy?

No. The formula contains whey protein isolate, a milk ingredient. Do not use if you have a milk-protein allergy or an allergy to any ingredient.

Where can I read the supporting research?

The evidence review below separates ingredient findings from what is known about this finished formula. It includes human studies, a systematic review and limitations such as small samples, uncontrolled designs and different doses.

The Hernández Marín et al. 2021 paper was retracted in June 2026 and is not used as support.
